Happy Fall, lovers!!! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA on the blog, but now that I’ve gotten my class up and running and the craziness of September is behind me, I’m back! Fall is arguably the best season for a number of reasons, but the obvious reason for me is the clothes! I am such a layerer (is that a word? I think no, but just go with me) and being able to throw a blazer or leather jacket on with a  pair of booties and run out the door is just the best. Speaking of booties, I have been on the hunt for a great pair of brown booties since last year, and I finally found them! Check these out (they also come in other colors) and I promise you won’t be disappointed. Also, I got this blazer/coat/not sure what to call it but you get the idea from Zara in London when my mom and I went this summer and I’m so glad I did! And I’m so glad they still have it so you guys can share in the amazingness! Now off to arrange my pumpkins… :)

workout wear

Hiiiii guys!!!! Thanks for being patient with me while I’ve enjoyed summer and totally neglected my blog…I’m so happy to be back, though! I hope you are having the best summer too and all my teachers out there are enjoying this precious time. G and I shot some really cool looks this weekend that I’ll post in the next few days and I think you’re going to love.

I’m really excited to share this workout look with you today. I don’t know about you, but for me, having cute workout gear is a complete motivator for me to workout! When I first joined Exhale and started doing Core Fusion a few years ago, I gave my workout wardrobe some lovin’ and I couldn’t wait to put on all my new stuff and hit the studio each day. So if you’re anything like me, you’ll seriously enjoy my newest workout line obsession: Outdoor Voices. The pants I’m wearing in this post are super soft and stretchy, and they allow me to get into all my core fusion positions with ease (my favorite of course being child’s pose, ha). They’re also really opaque so I never have to worry about being that girl in class who’s inadvertently flashing everyone…(we’ve all been there). If you’re looking for some workout motivation, I highly recommend checking out Outdoor Voices!

flared jeans

I’m all for skinnies (though I think I told you guys in an earlier post that it took some time for me to warm up to them) but my favorite denim style has always been and probably will always be flared. There’s something so chic about the way they graze over shoes, just letting the tiniest bit of the toe peek out. For this outfit, I started with this awesome Tory Burch wool blazer (the round beaded “buttons” snap off – how genius is that?!) and kept everything else neutral – a silver sparkly scarf, a white blouse underneath, and of course, my favorite jeans! I’m also having a ton of fun experimenting with my new camera, so stay tuned…IMG_0121 IMG_0122 IMG_0123 IMG_0128 IMG_0129 IMG_0134 IMG_0137 IMG_0141

over-the-knee boots

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen me in my Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots about a thousand times. There’s really no other way to say it, I am obsessed with them. I have them in black leather and navy suede and I wear them literally ALL the time. They are hands-down my favorite winter shoe, and my favorite boot altogether. What else can I say? Great investment. I love them with such a wide variety of outfits, from sweater dresses to flirty skirts and everything in between, but I think my favorite is pairing them with a cozy sweater and jeans. For this outfit, I did just that, adding this fabulous statement necklace for that all-important bit of bling.

comfy chic

Hey guys! I know it’s not actually Sunday (my usual post day) but it really feels like it because I’m off today! I’m also going to try to start posting a little bit more often…but we’ll see how that goes.

Today’s post is all about being comfortable but still looking put-together. Finding that perfect balance isn’t always easy, but here’s a look I think you guys can easily replicate. I started putting this outfit together with this sweater that I picked up at a consignment shop in Atlanta – I love it because it has a little bit of sparkle, a little bit of fringe, but it doesn’t go overboard. This look really could be done with any sweater that has a little bit of interest to it. I paired it with a bright white button-down underneath (always pulls a look together) my favorite light-wash jeans, and my oxfords. Added a pop of navy with the sunnies and the bag: done and done!

winter white & a pop of color

I feel like I’ve probably made my feelings on white-all-year-long pretty clear. But in case you are just tuning in, white is one of my favorite colors (oookkk, teachers, it’s one of my favorite absences of color) and I see no reason to pack it away when the weather turns chilly! Today’s post is a look at one of my favorite ways to do winter white. I start with my favorite white skinnies, add brown leather details, a textured scarf, cozy wool trench, and a fabulous wrap sweater (more details on this amazing boutique below), and there you have it: a chic winter look that definitely won’t give you seasonal affect disorder. Which, by the way, I’m almost positive I have. Excuse the fact that my skin matches my pants, I seriously need sun…IMG_1418 IMG_1421 IMG_1430 IMG_1432 IMG_1435 IMG_1449Outfit Details:
